In order to include more performance practice for the campers, once again we will have practice performance showcases from 8:30 - 9:30pm, sat & sun. Saturday will concentrate on dancers and Sunday will concentrate on musicians. If there are camp musicians that want to accompany dancers for the Saturday showcase, please inquire with Ayshe. All performers will have approx 5 minutes to perform -- Camp dancers will get to perform according to their registration sign-up date. Ayshe will organize the performers. FRIDAY NIGHT CAMPER SHOWCASE: is for campers who are experienced performers. Performances are on a first-come, first serve basis, but you must meet the following conditions:
You must have been dancing for at least several years and have at least 100 public performances. We regret that we cannot have the same camper performers two years in a row. There are five camper performance slots available. Please note, that participants will be expected to dance with the house band, so come prepared with a few selection requests. Remember, there will be LOTS and LOTS of open dancing, with our great musicians, for everyone at all shows!! (both folk dance and Middle Eastern Oriental styles).
